Yoga Teacher Training
Teaching the art of accessible yoga for all bodies.
Our Story
"Teach what is inside you, not as it applies to you, to yourself, but as it applies to the other."
~ Tirumalai Krishnamacharya
For the explorer, the seeker or the teacher in you, our Yoga Techer Trainings run in-person at our Hastings studio, every year. These part-time courses are perfect for anyone wishing to further their knowledge of Yoga styles and philosophies, deepen their practice or lay the foundations for holding space for others from the teaching mat. Across monthly modules, and one-on-one tutorials we explore asana, pranayama, meditation and Yogic philosophy, Yin and Restorative Yoga, the anatomy of yoga and the nervous system, equitable and accessible practices and yoga for women, plus much more...

Sensory Yoga Facilitation Training - Level 1*

Five 2-hour online workshops + one-on-one tutorial
Workshops are held on 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th February & 24th March 2025, 6-8PM
Across five workshops we take a deep dive into the workings of the nervous system through the lens of the eight senses and how dysregulation can manifest for neurodivergent and sensory-sensitive tamariki and adults; we unpack the three elements of yoga and align them with sensory-sensitive practices, plus we explore Sensory Yoga themes and lesson plans and how these may be created and adapted while at the same time leaning into our roles as regulation partners and respond intuitively and compassionately to high sensory needs.
*there is no requirement to have completed our Intro course before signing up for Level 1.
These courses are open to all with no yoga training/qualifications required.
We have created tiered pricing for these trainings to reflect our commitment to Equity in Investment, which reflect whether participants are self-funding or being supported by their organisation to cover training costs.
